I had certainly fallen off the wagon with meal planning too, hadn't I? All the changes that Oath is going through (like any other baby) throw me off a loop and I have a hard time picking myself back up and get going. Lets try again.
Anyway, we'll try again when he's mustered the willpower again. That means no diet meal plan this week. Instead, we'll have the usual dishes with some new recipes I want to try:
Monday
- Lunch: Beef fajitas
- Dinner: Honey and vinegar chicken legs
Tuesday
- Lunch: Chick-pea salad
- Dinner: Hamburgers
Wednesday
- Lunch: Spaghetti carbonara
- Dinner: Fish with shrimp and caramelized onions
Thursday
- Lunch: Sea-food "raoles"
- Dinner: Sausages and mashed potatoes
Friday
- Lunch: Chicken strogonoff with rice
- Dinner: Soup or leftovers
Saturday
- Lunch: Pasta with tuna and tomato
- Dinner: Puff pastry cheese and ham braid
Sunday
- Lunch: Meatballs
- Dinner: Stuffed potatoes

Pasta with tuna and tomato isn't a combination I've tried... sounds good, though!
ReplyDeleteI go on and off with menu planning, but my weeks are definitely easier when I have a plan. Last week we wound up eating sandwiches two nights and fast food another night because I didn't have a plan, so this week I made sure to come up with one!
Tuna and tomato go very well together, and if you add some basil and olive oil it is even yummier
DeleteStopping by for a blog visit from Organizing Junkie's Menu Plan Monday today!
ReplyDeleteMenu planning definitely does help our budget, as well as make my days easier.
I love this time of year when the temps have cooled down to something liveable in Las Vegas!
When I opened our coat closet I didn't get hit with a blast of heat today. Now that's much better.
I'll be on the lookout for soup recipes to add to my recipe file box.
Oh, I love heat and get sad now that the weather is cooler... Oath sure is thankful for the drop in temperatures, though!
DeleteI just feel lost when I don't meal plan - but I am a Type A person, so I LOVE to have a plan!
ReplyDeleteYour ham and cheese braid sounds yummy! We love ham and cheese at our house!
Your menu looks great! :)
I am a planner, so I certainly understand feeling lost without it.
DeleteCheese and ham is such a yummy and versatile combination, isn't it?
